Introducing William Floyd – Head Golf Professional at Village Greens
Village Greens is proud to welcome William (Will) Floyd as our new Head Golf Professional. A Charleston, South Carolina native, Will is a lifelong athlete who competed in collegiate baseball, soccer, and golf before graduating from Francis Marion University.
Will brings a wealth of experience in both golf operations and player development. His background includes serving as Membership Director at River Falls Plantation, Assistant Golf Professional at Carolina Country Club, and Golf Coach at Oakbrook Preparatory School. He is also an Associate Member of the PGA of America, underscoring his dedication to advancing the game.
Will and his wife, Keri, relocated to the Upstate after meeting in Charleston. Married in 2017, they are proud parents to two daughters, Maryn and Maggie, who attend Oakbrook Preparatory School. The Floyd family is active in the community, attending Church at the Mill and participating in local civic and social organizations.
With his professional expertise, strong leadership, and deep community roots, Will is excited to bring his passion for golf and player development to Village Greens.
Tips And Guidelines
- Pace of play – 4 hours and 15 minutes for a 4 some.
- Must be 16 years of age to drive golf car
- Please rake sand traps and fix ball marks
- No “five-somes” on weekends or holiday
- “Golf now” online paired tee times must play together
- Orange scoring tee markers recommended for juniors, beginners, ladies and advanced aged players.

Ground Under Repair: A player may take relief 1 club length from ground under repair, no closer to the hole. Relief is granted when either the ball or feet in normal stance is in a marked “Ground Under Repair” area. This rule is optional as you may strike your shot from ground under repair, if you so choose to.
